Classes and Workshops

Argentine Tango has become THE social dance all around the world. Tango parties (called "milongas") happen every night of the week in the Washington DC area, and most large cities you might travel to. People of all ages (from teens to the 80's), and physical fitness (from former or current dancers to people that never moved or danced at any parties) are being drawn to tango. And once you are in, you are hooked for life. Why? Come and have your own experience!

Argentine tango can be danced socially, on small tango exhibitions or on stage at theatres. Accordingly, you can learn a simple and musical dance, add some still socially-accepted cool moves, or go all the way up to more challenging dancing, depending on what you want to do with the dance. You will find that learning  tango improves communication and connection with your partner and people around you, helps your musicality, increases perception. There are all kind of benefits, social, psychological and just physical to dance tango. Here you'll find workshops and classes we are offering. Juan Cantone and Sol Orozco. April 11 to May 10th, 2012

Juan and Sol visiting DC for the 9th time!. They bring a unique style that mixed the elengance, musicality and sensuality of Tango Salon, with elements of Tango Nuevo. The result is an elegant, extremely musical and contemporary style of tango that can be danced at any milonga regardless of the space, based on the solid basic technique of Tango Salon. Great people, great dancers, great teachers!... don't miss this rare opportunity to learn and practice for 5 weeks some serious tango technique and musicality while they are in town.
